SPECIFICATION: Install at a spacing of one per 1500 square feet. The Aluminum Vent is made of .060" spun aluminum with a base flange diameter of 11.5" and a height of 11". The stand pipe has a 6.5" base opening and a 4.5" counter flashing rain cap that locks and is vandal proof type.

APPLICATIONS: Vents and Breathers- for relief of trapped moisture in roofing systems. Vents and Breathers are used to relieve moisture vapor trapped within a roofing system. Moisture may have entered the system due to drying of lightweight insulating concrete materials, leaks, faulty vapor retarders, or during construction. Portals Plus Vents and Breathers can prevent blistering, delamination, and billowing of the membrane, while helping to maintain thermal design efficiency. Vents are manufactured with a one-way valve which opens to relieve moisture vapor pressure and then closes to prevent moisture from re-entering the system. Breathers allow for both exhaust as well as convective movement of air within the system.
