PRODUCT: Single-Ply Primer, LVOC (low VOC) Tape Primer. 2 Oz. Bottle. Price/Bottle.

APPLICATIONS: Single-Ply LVOC Primer is solvent based primer designed to clean and prime EPDM, TPO and PVC membranes to attach butyl adhesive Seam-Tape or Cover-Strip products.
COVERAGE:
SEAMS: each 2-oz bottle prepares about 40 to 50 feet of 3" wide seams, (when applied to BOTH sides of the seam).
COVER TAPE: each 2-oz bottle prepares about 40-50 feet of 6" wide coverstrip/seam-cover tape.
USE: Application of Single-Ply LVOC Primer:
1. As always, mix the product thoroughly before and during use. It will appear uniform after mixing. Splice surfaces must be clean, dry and free of foreign materials and excess dusting agents.
2. Clean with broom or rags to remove contaminates and surface talc. Apply Single-Ply LVOC Primer at the coverage specified to the splicing surfaces using the 3M fine Scotch Brite pad and nitrile gloves. Scrub into surface using back and forth strokes (four minimum) with heavy pressure along the length of the splicing area, until membrane surfaces become uniform in color, with no streaks or puddles.
3. Additional scrubbing may be required where the substrate is contaminated. .
4. Use the touch-push test to determine readiness. Dry times will vary with ambient conditions.
5. Allow the surfaces to dry completely before applying seam tape products.
Primers will turn dark with extended sun exposure. Do not apply to areas which will not be covered.
