INTERNATIONAL CREDIT CARD and 3D SECURE HELP PAGE:


3D Secure Checkout. What is it? This method enables international customers to pay in their local currency and use a 3D secure payment process. This enables Best Materials to approve transactions which might otherwise be denied. It also provides customers added security of secrecy their credit card information and comfort that their purchase is legitimate.

Use an International Credit Card with 3D Secure:


1. During checkout, after you input address, you MUST select a shipping carrier AND THEN a carrier method.

 


2. Add any "Special Instructions" or comments.


3. Select Credit Card -International. NOTE: You must first select Carrier and Carrier Method above BEFORE you'll see the yellow payment options. Example.

4. Selecting as above takes you to the final step - "Payment Information" page. Example


5. Selecting your desired currency from the Drop Down. Example.


6. Fill in your card info. Click PAY NOW.


7. You will be directed to your banks 3D secure Screen. They vary. Example-1. Example-2.

Follow the process there to get your 3D secure code. Fill in the code to complete your order.

8. You will then be redirected back to the Best Materials Order Confirmation Page. Example.

Then an email will be sent to you (Order Acknowledgement). If you selected UPS, within 24 hours of shipment you should get another email with the shipping tracking information. USPS and other shipment types receive tracking information a day or so later.

9. For your added security, BE SURE to Log-Out.


IMPORTANT NOTES:

IF YOU DO NOT GET AN ON-SCREEN ORDER CONFIRMATION NUMBER your order probably did not process. Press Log-Out and start over with a NEW browser window. 

Q: Do you have more currencies types than those listed? A: Yes. Please email sales@bestmaterials.com and we can see if the one you want is currently available. Not all currencies are supported at this time.

Q: I got a Failed 3D confirmation. Why? A: Please try again. If it repeats, you may need to contact your bank to see if their 3D secure process is working for your card.

Q: How do I cancel an order? A: Email sales@bestmaterials.com

Q: I am trying to use ground shipping. It does not seem to work. What is wrong? A: For international shipments, we can only deliver by Air. Please select an AIR SHIPMENT method.

Q: Do I have to get a 3D secure code each time I purchase from you? A: No, if you choose to save code, you just need to do it the first time.

Q: My card does not support 3D secure. What can I do? A: Please contact your bank about setting up the 3D secure process for your card. If you have a credit card using a USA based bank (American Express, Visa, MasterCard) you can also try using the regular credit card checkout.

COMMON PROBLEMS AND QUESTIONS:
 
1. Credit Card Security Issues: We use the most advanced credit card security to protect YOU from fraudulent use of your credit card or identity information. This is for YOUR protection, as well as ours. This added security can cause difficulties in the check out process, especially for international customers. If you are having a repeat rejection of your order, we are happy to find the cause for you. Just call us. The most frequent causes of check-out problems are:
a. The billing address or zip code does not match that on file with your credit card company. You may have incorrectly typed your billing address.
b. Your credit is over limit and denied by the card company.
c. The ship-to address is not on file with your credit card company.
d. You are using a non U.S. bank issued credit card which does not support verified billing addresses. If you are outside the US, or visiting, use a U.S. bank issued card, or use Paypal, or call us to arrange wire payment. We can also accept payment advance by  mailing us a check.
 

2. Credit Cards & Ship-To Addresses: If you are paying by credit card  and if the ship-to address is different than your credit card billing address, you may need to set up the ship-to address as an alternate address with your credit card issuer (which enables your address to be verified during the security check process). You can set-up an alternate ship-to address in a few minutes by simply calling your credit card company using the toll-free number on the back of your credit card, and telling them you would like to set up an alternate shipping address. This is for YOUR credit security.
