DESCRIPTION:

Multipurpose extruded polystyrene board meets the requirements for commercial and residential foundation and slab protection. The closed-cell structure resists water absorption, enabling it to retain a high R-value over time, a necessary property in below-grade residential foundation applications. Compressive Strength is 30 PSI.

Options: available in thicknesses: 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, and in shipslap (tongue/groove) or butt-edges (square).

APPLICATIONS:

Protects foundation dampproofing and waterproofing, especially during backfilling

Provides a secondary barrier against groundwater leakage

Freeze-thaw cycling of the foundation wall is minimized, reducing the possibility of cracking

Used against almost any commercial or residential foundation wall in above- and below-grade applications
