Description:

OlyBond500 SpotShot is a fast-acting, dual-component, low-rise polyurethane foam adhesive designed to attach insulation to roof decks. SpotShot is dispensed through a portable 1:1 applicator and is perfect for crickets, smaller roofs, hard to reach areas, and repairs. SpotShot does not create any odors or noise that might disturb building occupants. OlyBond 500 SpotShot Insulation Adhesive has only 5 grams of VOC per liter of adhesive and are therefore exempt from the OTC Model Rule for Adhesives.

APPROVALS:

• OlyBond500 SpotShot is approved by most roof system manufacturers and is Factory Mutual, Underwriters Laboratories, Florida Building Code and Miami Dade approved.

APPLICATIONS:

• OlyBond500 is dispensed in 3/4 inch to 1 inch beads that spread to several inches while rising 3/4 to 1 inch above the substrate. Place the board stock into the adhesive and walk into place. A chemical cure takes place securing the board in approximately 4 to 8 minutes after application, depending on temperature and weather conditions.

SUBSTRATES:

PACKAGING AND COVERAGE:

• Packaged in 1,500 ml cartridge sets, 4/case. Coverage is 4–6 squares/case depending on the substrate and insulation type.
