Description:
Bilco Q-1AL Floor access door with single leaf covers are constructed of 1/4-inch diamond plate pattern aluminum and reinforced for a 150 lb/ft2 (732 kg/m2) live load. It is generally used for interior use or exterior applications where water or liquid infiltration into the access opening is not a concern. Also available in a number of standard single leaf sizes and special sizes to meet unique access requirements.

- Single Leaf Floor Access Doors with angle frame.
- Engineered with lift assistance for smooth, easy one-hand door operation, regardless of size.
- Automatic hold-open arm locks the cover in the open position to ensure safe egress.
- Heavy-duty construction and positive latching mechanism help to prevent unauthorized access.
- It is constructed with corrosion resistant materials to provide many years of trouble free, dependable service.

- Material: 1/4 inch (6mm) aluminum cover and frame
- Cover: Diamond-pattern tread plate reinforced for 150 psf (732 kg/m2) live load
- Hinges: Cast steel cam-action hinges that are concealed from the exterior of the door
- Latch: Type 316 stainless steel slam lock with fixed interior handle and removable exterior lift/turn handle
- Lift Assistance: Torsion bars that pivot on cam-action hinges. Automatic hold-open arm with grip handle release
- Finish: Mill Finish aluminum with a bituminous coating applied to the exterior of the frame.
- Hardware: Zinc plated/chromate sealed.
